SimTab Ancestry
Welcome to my blog and it’s all about ancestry of the Simpsons from Virginia and the Tabers from Rhode Island and Connecticut. Two families joined together by marriage in 1960 of William Franklin Simpson Jr. from Virginia and Linda Ellen Taber from Connecticut.
Oh boy, as my late Grandfather William Franklin Simpson Sr, known as Bill, would say, there were a lot more marriages! Our lineage, as found so far, introduced heritages from England, Scotland, Ireland, and Prussia. What a mix! It is truly my belief that each of the Simpsons and Tabers today can attribute their actions, quirks, beliefs, values, etc. to their heritage, and some to a specific person.
Example, I’ve been told many times that I have the same mannerisms as my Aunt Barbara Taber who married Collins. I never had the pleasure of knowing her, yet it is to those who knew her, an uncanny experience as they watch me interact with others. Each of us and you share this unique design passed down through centuries of those who came before us.
I’ve researched the Simpson’s and Taber’s for years on and off. My blog will share what I found to be an obsession into the lives of people I’ve never met and a passion for who we are, as I create mini stories about my ancestors.

Greetings from Ireland! I am looking forward to hearing more about your ancestry – in particular your Irish connection. Happy blogging!
Thank You! I am really interested in your connection to Rhode Island!
Looking forward to seeing how many people we are related too!
Thank you for viewing! We have many in our tree now!
Hi Terry,
It’s your cousin Sue via the Strider line-can’t wait to read your blog!
Welcome Sue! From our talks I feel you have many stories of the faimly to share yourself. Maybe you could start a blog too! My blog and the way I present it won’t attract a lot of people outside the family but it’s fun to get the stories out there for them with the hope they will pass them down generations!
Probably a huge task but wouldn’t it be fun to invite all our ancestry connections in the family to write what they know so we can all learn more about us!
I am your first cousin and looking forward to posting information and stories.
I wiil try to set up blog
Mickey
